Design Intern | February - December 2022
Description
AndHealth is a new, Columbus-based company looking to reverse chronic diseases (starting with migraine and autoimmune) by combining behavioral and clinical care. My first day as an intern was actually the day they officially launched the company. My time spent here began with the development of a number of digital illustrations for their in-app information catalog. After some time, I transitioned to working with the marketing team. With the marketing team, I designed many different employer materials (for example, promotional materials, case studies, one-pagers, and posters), materials for workshops hosted by the company, as well as smaller side projects (a sticker, a social media campaign, socks, powerpoints, and more). Below are just a few examples of my contributions during my internship.
Workshop Materials
I designed a series of 10 cards to be used in workshops held for potential patients by the companies' Health Coaches. They were for the user to take home and keep as reminders and to utilize during the workshops.

Holiday Gift
I helped organize and put together a holiday gift that AndHealth sent to their clients. My coworker, Adrianna Andretta, and I collaborated to create the cards and the coffee bag label.

Promotional Materials
The spinner was designed as a promotional material specifically targeted toward employees at a company that offers AndHealth as a benefit. The design was a play on the phrase "find your root cause combination", in other words, discovering the cause(s) of one's chronic disease.

I also helped design case studies for multiple different platforms. The design on the top is employer-facing and was sent to potential clients of AndHealth. The series below was to be posted on the company's Instagram.

Illustrations
Below are two of many illustrations I created for their in-app content.

Reflection
Working as an intern at AndHealth was an amazing experience. Because this company was a start-up, I learned a lot about the beginnings of a business, navigating/helping grow a developing brand, and creating materials in/for a professional environment. This position included immense collaboration with many people across the company, specifically, the marketing team and the care team. I grew a lot as a designer during my time at AndHealth, as I had to apply the principles I was learning in school to scenarios I had not yet been exposed to.
